Classic Challenge - Welsh Finals

Our girls competed exceptionally well at the 2022 Welsh Classic Challenge Finals in SWNC - against stiff competition - with beautiful gymnastics and some great results! The girls were all representing the South Central region after securing places at the South Central round a couple of weeks prior.

Highlights from the competition include:-

• Coco Harrison (Copper) finished 5th AA, 3rd on bars and picked up team bronze.

• Lily Hobbs also took 5th AA in the Zinc category, as well as Vault gold, Beam bronze and team gold alongside her team mates Ophelia Carter and Erin Sullivan.

• Ophelia also picked up 2nd AA, Beam silver, Bars 4th, Floor 5th and Erin was top of podium, collecting 1st AA, Beam gold and Floor silver.

• Isabelle, also competing in Zinc, took 5th Beam and team bronze whilst teammate Rosalie took 5th on Bars and team bronze.

• Competing in the older category, Ellie Court (Copper) was 3rd AA, 1st on Bars, 3rd on Vault and 4th on Floor, plus she picked up team bronze.

• Morgan Treadgold (also Copper) finished 1st on Floor, 6th on Beam and 8th AA plus team bronze.

• Ava Chillcot and Ava Kershaw also picked up team silver medals.

Regardless of the results, what we are most proud of is the hard work, commitment and resilience ourgymnasts show in training week in, week out - which means they can go out on the floor with confidence!! Very well done gymnasts - and coaches!
