Gareth Bale Festival of Sport 2024

This October, 16 of our young leaders from VGA and St Tydfils were treated to a day of sporting activities at the Celtic Manor - hosted by Gareth Bale. The aim of the day was to inspire and introduce young people to a range of sports, including skateboarding, cricket, bowls and badminton - where they played against Gareth Bale himself!

The day ended with a fantastic ‘meet and greet’ where the groups were presented with signed Wales football shirts. Huge thanks to Street Games for the invite to this wonderful event - the feedback from our young leaders was extremely positive!
